A sensory gym is a specially designed environment that provides children with opportunities to explore and regulate their senses through play-based activities. It supports sensory processing, motor skills, coordination, and emotional regulation.
We offer occupational therapy (OT) and physical therapy (PT).
Children with sensory processing challenges, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, developmental delays, coordination difficulties, anxiety, or other neurological differences often benefit. However, any child can enjoy and benefit from sensory play.
We serve children from birth to age 21.
The duration of treatment varies for each child, depending on their individual needs, goals, and progress. The therapist will provide an estimated timeline after the evaluation.
Typical sessions last 45 minutes or 60 minutes, depending on the child’s needs and attention span.
Frequency depends on individual goals and progress. Many children attend 1–3 times per week.
Parents are welcome! Some children benefit from independent sessions, while others do best with parental participation or observation.
Comfortable, flexible clothing that allows for movement. Socks or bare feet are preferred for safety and sensory feedback.
Therapists provide a personalized "sensory diet" and/or programs of activities for you to do with your child at home to maintain the benefits of therapy.
We do not accept insurance at this time. However, we provide a detailed bill (superbill) that families can submit to their insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement, if their plan offers those benefits.
We accept cash, checks, credit/debit cards, Zelle, Venmo and Health Savings Account (HSA) payments.
